Chibi Otaku - Rules and Regulations
I. Respect Officers, Senior Staff, and Staff’s Decisions – If you have an issue or concern, we want to hear about it. However, once a conclusion has been reached regarding any matter, even if you do not agree, please respect the final decision. This isn’t Fairy Tail, don’t argue with the Guild Master!
II. Respect Personal and Property Boundaries – Show respect concerning others space, property, and personal boundaries. Crossing the line will, more than likely, result in you getting the “Miroku groping Sango (Inuyasha)” treatment.
III. Maintain Cleanliness - Whether or not you choose to live in a pig sty at home is your business but Chibi Otaku chooses to be clean and orderly. Play your part, even if you appear to be as bipolar as Miyazawa Yukino (Kare Kano).
IV. Social Drinking – No one likes a sloppy drunk, just look at Cana Alberona (Fairy Tail). Please mind that Chibi Otaku is family friendly environment and keep your drinking to a social minimum.
V. No Drugs – We all like our high in Chibi Otaku but most of us prefer the natural high of life. For those who need a “boost” please note that Chibi Otaku is a drug free group. If you choose to participate in any legal or illegal drug activities, please do so before an event and keep any “products” out of sight. Bringing items of this nature out in public will be terms for immediate dismissal from the club.
VI. Respect Chibi Otaku’s Name – As stated previously, Chibi Otaku is a family oriented group. If you are out and about at a convention or other event and are wearing your Chibi Otaku button, badge, or shirt, you are a representative of Chibi Otaku. Act in a positive manner. If we receive complaints regarding a member’s behavior, there will be consequences.
VII. Manage Language – We have members of all ages and respect those who want to raise their children in an appropriate manner. Please mind your language and keep all conversations civil. Anyone who chooses to be as foul-mouthed as Keres Eills (Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service) will be escorted from the event and will not be invited to return in the future.
VIII. All clubs / community groups are equal. No one club / group / organization is better than another. Each has its own style and we need to respect our peers. Elitist behavior is not tolerated.
IX. Drama Free – Everyone has their own problems and you may run into issues with another member. While we invite you to require mediation from Senior Staff, we ask that you do not share your problems with the entire group, do not spam the Facebook group or forums with drama, and do not slander your fellow Otaku. Regardless of who started the situation or what happened, anyone who participates in such nonsense will be removed from the group, no exceptions. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
X. No Senior Staff / Officers Dating - People “fall in love” all the time and love is a beautiful thing. We understand that certain desires may arise when you are hanging out or working with another person. We think this is a truly wonderful thing and we wish everyone the best however, Senior Staff and Officers are not permitted to inter-date. This is to protect the club and its titled staff. We wish to prevent altercations, drama, and the inconvenience of having to replace individuals in these positions when the relationship deteriorates.
